Exhibition Catalogue: Tom Wesselmann - Retrospective of Prints and Multiples 1964-1989

This catalogue was published on the occasion of a retrospective of Tom Wesselmann prints and other works held at the Hara Museum of Contemporary Art (Tokyo) in 1990. Although Wesselmann, a leading figure in American contemporary art, is well known for his paintings, but he was also active in the area of multiples, which played an important role in his career and encompasses a wide range of expression. This volume contains plates of nine works (including Great American Nude, Bedroom Painting and Still Life), a brief biography of the artist and a list of works featured in the show.
